JEM HAIR is a CT hair salon specializing in customized color and haircut looks. Owner, Jesica Mesa holds a Master Color Certificate with the Wella Color line and has been awarded 3 nominations from the biggest hair show in the world (One Shot Hair Awards). Jesica started her career as an 18 year old by attending Platt Technical High School. Where she received her cosmetology license and shortly after began her full time training at LANPHIER Salon located in Darien, CT. There she gained 8 years of hairstylist experience in haircutting, highlighting, balayage, styling, and treatment based services. Within those years, she always envisioned herself as her own boss, as a salon owner. So March of 2021, Jesica decided to go after her dream and become an independent hairstylist. She began to work from her home-based suite, perform house calls and teach classes. Her rapid growth in clientele pushed her to expand, in 2023, Jesica found the perfect home for JEM HAIR Salon. Where she can now help you create and achieve the look you envision and desire.
